A Song heard at multiple points in Ar tonelico Qoga: Knell of Ar Ciel.
This Song was developed by Kurogane himself for the Planet Regeneration Project and serves as one of the most essential steps for its execution. Basically, it serves as a multi-process Hymn that executes the following:
1) Transforming Tyria into the Tower of Harvestasha, through the rewriting of special RAM areas of her Triangular Nuclear Loop through a principle similar to the one used in EXEC_FLIP/.
2) Creating Harvestasha VISTA through the duplication of Harvestasha XP.
3) Installing the Main-Field Goal Algorithm in both Harvestashas.[1][2]
However, the Song was interrupted when it was reaching its climax because Kurogane committed suicide in front of Tyria. This caused such a large trauma to her that Tyria ended forgetting everything that happened in that moment, including the half of the Song she hadn't Sung yet. Due to this, the first half of the Song can be heard echoing throughout several sections of the Tower, which ends up degenerating into a bunch of static noises and looping back to the beginning. This also caused the Third Tower to be created incompletely, leaving it unable to accomplish its functions. Despite the first process being left incomplete and the third process being left impossible to execute, Harvestasha VISTA was indeed successfully created, and most of the essential facilities of the Third Tower were created complete as well.[3]
During the events of Ar tonelico Qoga: Knell of Ar Ciel, and thanks to Aoto's intervention, Tyria managed to remember the rest of the Song, and she Sang it to program both Harvestashas with the information they needed to accomplish the Planet Regeneration Project. This also set up the Tower to be completed with the energy that Cocona gave them through METHOD HYMMELI/..
The feelings that this Song contains are actually the summary from a collection of short stories titled "dhezeall" (prisoner in Hymmnos language) that were written by Kurogane himself. In fact, this is the second part to the story, while the first part is found in EXEC_COSMOFLIPS/.. Also, as a side note, this Song seems to describe the duty of the Antibodies, although they didn't first appear until many years later, so maybe Kurogane foresaw their coming into existence. Curiously enough, this Song also underwent a Hymmnos Fusion thanks to the multiple changes Tyria's heart went through during the long span of 700 years between her two attempts at singing it.[4]
Finally, this is the Song to which Ayatane Michitaka referred tp when he told Mir about a Song of Hope.[5]. He also knew it because Clustania had a copy of this Song in their power, which they intended to Download in a Reyvateil capable of handling it if ever they found one, so the Third Tower could be completed.[6] Also known as Riversia Protocol.

Feelings Contained[]
A refugee ship drifts at the speed of light
Alone in this sea of stars
In this distance of forty thousand light years from Sol
Searching for God, fated to wander eternally
One Goddess and 120,000 refugees were on the ship,
their food supplies exhausted, organic substances all absorbed.
Despite that, the people still lived on while dying.
Kanui - the maiden who could communicate with God - was their hope,
She chased the invaders - "them" - into the engine room and suffered fatal burns.
Emerging from the room, she told this to the stirring crowd.
Devour my body,
or you'll all die.
The people hesitated.
But there was no food left on the ship.
No one has eaten or drunk anything for more than ten days.
A ship without an engineer is one headed towards death.
Someone then chomped the maiden.
Kanui whispered lightly.
Please, give us hope...
As if on a cue, the people crowded around Kanui and devoured her whole.
And then, the people died.
Before the passing of 10 days, all life was wiped out.
The people's corpses piled up like mountains, and eventually decomposed, returning to the earth.
By the Ru's power, the people's corpses became a bountiful land.
The ship rode on the land made of their corpses, and traveled on.
Sometimes by the undulations of the planets, sometimes by the power of the atoms.
And then, one life was born.
That which was piled on the ship with the humans sprouted a beautifully green bud.
Eventually, after a few hundred light years of traveling,
The ship was covered in greenery, and microscopic lifeforms were born.
The ship acted as a huge biotope, and more lives were created.
After traveling a few thousand more light years,
The ship was pulled in by a small planet and forced into landing.
And the ship - which had become a huge biocapsule -, nurtured life on this planet.
Alongside the star Sol that nurtured the light of hope
A new generation of humans shall be born
Onto this planet - the new land of hope
And create a new civilization.
Awaken, o land
Make our souls resound just once more
And please give hope to these new lives
I pray that a disaster like this shall never happen again
To our descendants
Or our motherly planet
Trivia[]
- The story of dhezeall seems to be a very distorted account of the events that were shown in Ar nosurge: Ode to an Unborn Star, with Kanui being the stand-in for Kanoyeel.kkll.Preciel, who goes by the name Kanui at several points in her Genometrics, and COSAL being very similar to the Genom King of the same name. The Ru seem to be a reference to the Sharls, and the refugee ship seems to be actually the Colony Ship Soreil that serves as the setting for the most part of the game. Needless to say, the story progresses in a much darker and macabre way in comparison to its original form.
